As a dentist, Dr. Yi enjoys taking the time to listen to individual patient’s needs and discuss potential treatments that will help patients long term. Dr. Yi focuses on the importance of preventative dentistry and likes to constantly remind patients of the importance of home oral care. Dr. Yi strives to provide a positive experience for the patients and treat them as she would treat family members.
Dr. Yi graduated Summa Cum Laude from Tufts dental school in 2018 with a D.M.D. degree. She has been working as a full time dentist in Baltimore area dental practices since then. Prior to entering dentistry, Dr. Yi earned a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Microbiology from Tufts University in 2007. She then became a Research Fellow in Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases at Massachusetts General Hospital from 2008 – 2013 with dual appointment as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Medicine at Harvard University.
Dr. Yi has been a practicing dentist in Maryland since 2018. She enjoys interacting with patients in her dental office in Columbia, MD. With her extensive trainings and background knowledge, Dr. Yi is very thorough in her explanations and goes the extra mile to help her patients fully understand their oral health and discuss ideal treatment options.
